Back in October 2006, Harding defeated the undefeated Daniel Judah (20-1-3, 10 KO's) for the NABF Light Heavyweight Title. For several years Harding has been a top contender in the Light Heavyweight division and has faced the likes of Roy Jones, Jr., Antonio Tarver, and Glen Johnson. Harding was known to have been the toughest challenge Jones faced while he was in the prime of his career until he suffered a grimacing bicep injury during the match. Lawrence scored the biggest win of his career in his last bout on October 21, 2005, when he decisioned former world title challenger Jameel McCline. The 35-year-old Poughkeepsie, NY native holds victories over 2000 Olympic Bronze Medalist Paolo Vidoz; Nigerian King Ipitan, who at the time of the bout held a record of 19-1-1; and current top-ten ranked heavyweight Ray Austin. Darnell "Ding-A-Ling Man" Wilson is at an impressive 18-3-3 (15 KO's) and is in the prime of his career. He grew up idolizing Sugar Ray Leonard and Mike Tyson as fighters, and began his career at the age of 24. He is a versatile fighter with a strong chin and power in both hands 1-0-0 Copiaque, NY; Featherweight Chris Algieri is a college graduate and premedical student who fights for the love of the game. He is a Greenlawn native and grew up in a middle-class suburb where he still resides with his close-knit family. He graduated from Stony Brook University with a Bachelors of Science degree with a GPA of 3.7 and is a member of the national college honor society. Chris works as a laboratory technical aide at the premier scientific research facility, Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory. Chris is also pursuing his Masters Degree in Clinical Nutrition and plans on attending Medical School after his boxing career. The only thing Chris hits harder than the books are his opponents.
Chris is chasing a dream of becoming World Champion and trains harder than anyone you'll ever meet. Anyone who knows him can attest to his determination and self-discipline and knows there is little that can stop him. He is always in shape, a perpetual gym rat and is a consistent student of the sweet science. He admires and has studied fighters like Sugar Ray Leonard, Roberto Duran, and Oscar De La Hoya. Although he has no "boxing" experience, Chris has competed at the international level in Full-Contact Kickboxing for years and is well prepared for a smooth transition. He prides himself on tight defense, technical precision, and sound fundamentals. With a strong body and sound mind, there is little that can stand in the way of Chris Algieri.
